For students looking to pursue a career in the arts amidst their completion of high school credit courses at Berkshire, we invite several renowned artists and teachers to act as mentors and guides to help students prepare their applications and portfolios. Students greatly benefit from this as it helps them get into top art schools around the world including the University of Toronto, OCAD university, Ryerson University, Parsons School of Design, Rhode Island School of Design, Central Saint Martins, etc. Students who plan to major in art, as well as those with little foundation in art, can all have the opportunity to receive guidance for portfolio and interview preparation from renowned art teachers and professors of various top art schools.

DIANE PUGEN OCAD

Diane is a graduate of the Art Institute of Chicago and the University of Chicago, and has a Ph.D in Education and Psychology. She is a former associate art professor at the Art Institute of Chicago, a former director on the Ontario Arts Council, and has been involved in art education for over 40 years.

Ammar launched his Bespoke Denim street-style brand in 2002, which later became Pakistan’s first luxury menswear label. He has received numerous national awards including ‘Best Emerging Talent’ and ‘Best Menswear.’
